FREE SALE Downtown, Sunday, January 31st
Anchor Gaslamp Church is giving back to the community. We are having a FREE SALE (which is basically a Yard Sale, except people do not need to pay $ for any items) This "Sale" will be conveniently located in downtown at 1569 1st Ave, San Diego, CA 92101. This event is being advertised among our friends struggling with job-loss, foreclosure, homelessness and poverty.
We Need YOUR HELP.
How?
1) You can Volunteer. We will need help between the hours of 8am and 2pm to help set up, monitor, and take down/ clean up the area we use.
2) You can Spread the Word! Let people know what we're doing. Have them start collecting donations and finding people to help volunteer
3) You can DONATE. We need your donations. Gently used, every day stuff.
Anchor Gaslamp will accept the following items in good condition:
Antiques, collectibles
Appliances (small)
Artwork
Bedspreads, blankets, curtains, tablecloths, decorative pillows
Bicycles
Books, records, tapes, CDs, DVDs
Clothing, belts, scarves, ties, pocketbooks
Cookware, dishes, pots and pans
House wares and decorative items
Jewelry
Sporting goods
Garbage bins
Recyclable Consumer Materials Aluminum, Glass, Plastic,
Corrugated Material
What we will NOT be able to accept:
Anchor Gaslamp is unable to accept the following items (due to the high cost of disposal and strict government regulations):
Any Items in Need of Repair of with Missing Parts
Baby Furnishings (Strollers, Car Seats, High Chairs, Cribs)
Toys
Furniture in need of Repair or Reupholstering
Sofa Beds
Mattresses Box Springs, Waterbeds, Bed Frames, Futons,
Futon Frames, Pillows
Pianos and Organs
Food or Beverages
Large Appliances (Washers, Dryers, Stoves, Dishwashers,
Refrigerators)
Large Office Furniture
Computers and Monitors
Camping Equipment containing Gas, Oil or Butane
Furnaces or Wall Heaters
Snow Skis
Exercise Equipment
Fish Tanks
Televisions
Water Heaters
Gas-Powered Garden Tools Lawn Mowers, Weed Whackers,
Etc.
Plumbing or Building Supplies Cabinets or Doors
Auto Parts or Auto Accessories
Hazardous Materials Including, but not limited to, Paint, Oil,:

Nothing Alive for example – Plants or Puppies
