Anchor Gaslamp

Kenny longs first and foremost to be known as a follower of Jesus.  He is a young leader who is continually asking what it means to live God's ways in all aspects of life.  After graduating from the University of Arkansas in 2007, he moved to San Diego to serve as a Student Pastor.  Since living in California, he has spent several months in Kenya and India on mission trips.  If you're around him long enough, you'll know he loves to sing a song, tell a story, or listen to what's going on in your heart.

Debbie has a heart for seeing people grow closer to Jesus everyday and truly experiencing his work and presence NOW, not just in heaven. Her gifts include connecting to the heart, teaching, and interacting cross-culturally. After college Debbie worked in national and international missions from Texas to Venezuela for a few years before getting her Masters in Theology at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. She moved to San Diego in 2008 to pursue a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, but little did she know that God had other purposes for her here as well. God led Debbie to Anchor Gaslamp Church where she is now one of the pastors and learning what it means to be the family of God and representatives of God's grace to this city.

Vince and Nancy Larson have been married for seven years and have served as Administrative Pastor and assistant for three years at a large church in town. After founding Anchor Gaslamp, Vince Larson began teaching high school at a local private school as a day job. Vince received his ministerial license in January 2007, and is enrolled at a local college where he is working towards a double major in Psychology and Communications. They have 2 beautiful children, Lillian (9) & Ivan (7).

Ian Stone is a native of Southern California and considers himself fortunate to have lived in San Diego since 2004. In 2006 he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego, and still loves to discuss his research into television and film fan culture. Currently Ian works as an Account Supervisor for Russo Partners, a public relations agency focused on early-stage life sciences companies.
